2. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to:
- App Users — anyone who installs or uses our mobile apps (e.g., “Agape” or “Ride4NYC”) as a driver, passenger, or guest.
- Website Visitors — anyone who visits AgapeNY.com, Ride4NYC.com, or any sub‑domain or landing page we operate.
- Portal Users — anyone who logs in to our online dashboards, driver portals, passenger portals, or other secure sites we provide.
By accessing or using any part of the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
3. Information We Collect
• Identifiers (e.g., name, alias, postal address, unique user ID, email, phone number, IP address, device IDs) — used for account set‑up, authentication, and customer support.
• Demographic data (e.g., age range, language preference) — used for personalization and eligibility checks.
• Location data (e.g., GPS coordinates collected in the foreground or background with your permission, pickup and drop‑off addresses, route traces) — used for real‑time matching, navigation, and safety features.
• Payment & financial information (e.g., tokenized card data, bank/payout details, transaction history) — used to process fares and make driver payouts.
• Usage & device data (e.g., app interactions, crash logs, browser type, operating‑system version) — used for analytics, debugging, and performance improvements.
• Communications (e.g., in‑app chat, call metadata, or recordings where legally allowed) — used for safety monitoring and dispute resolution.
• Sensitive / compliance documents (e.g., driver’s license, vehicle documentation, background‑check status, insurance certificates) — used for regulatory compliance and fraud prevention.

- Marketing & promotions – only with your opt‑in consent (e.g., newsletters, surveys, special offers).
- Legal or regulatory obligations – compliance with TLC, DMV, IRS, and other authorities.

- Contract – processing necessary to deliver the ride or other Service you request.

6. Sharing & Disclosure
We share personal information only in the limited situations listed below. We do not sell personal data.
• Passengers & Drivers
• Data shared: first name, pickup & drop‑off details, and an anonymized call/text relay that masks phone numbers.
• Purpose: complete the trip and enable real‑time coordination.
• Safeguards: information visible only during an active ride; contact relay expires shortly after the trip ends.
• Service Providers (cloud hosting, maps, payment processors, analytics)
• Data shared: only what the vendor needs to perform its task.
• Safeguards: strict contracts, confidentiality clauses, data‑processing addenda, audit rights, and deletion upon termination.
• Third‑Party SDKs & APIs (e.g., crash‑reporting, diagnostics)

• Safeguards: we integrate only SDKs that supply a signed Apple privacy manifest and prohibit repurposing or resale.
• Regulators & Law Enforcement
• Data shared: information required by law, subpoena, or valid court order.
• Safeguards: each request is reviewed, scoped narrowly, and users are notified when legally permitted.
• Business Transfers
• Data shared: relevant user data needed to continue services if we undergo a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
• Safeguards: the successor must honor this Privacy Policy or provide equivalent protection; users will be informed and given choices when required.
• Aggregated or De‑identified Data
• We may publish or license statistics (e.g., NYC traffic patterns) that cannot reasonably identify any individual.
We will not share your information with any other third parties without your express consent.

- Portability – obtain your data in a portable format.
- Marketing Opt‑Out – unsubscribe via in‑app settings or email links.
- Location Controls – disable or restrict background location in device settings; core ride features may be limited.
- State‑Specific Rights – California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Nevada residents have additional rights described in Section 15.

9. Security
We use TLS encryption in transit, AES‑256 encryption at rest, role‑based access controls, multi‑factor authentication for sensitive systems, and regular penetration testing. While no system is perfectly secure, we work continuously to protect your data.
10. International Transfers
We operate in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the U.S. and any other country in which we, our affiliates, or service‑providers operate.
11. Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13. If we learn that a child’s data has been collected, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians may contact us to request deletion.
12. Third‑Party Links & Integrations
Our apps and sites may link to or integrate with third‑party services (e.g., Google Maps, Stripe). We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies.
13. Changes to This Policy
We will post updates at https://AgapeNY.com/Privacy‑policy and within our apps at least 7 days before changes take effect. Material changes that broaden data use will require renewed consent in‑app.

15. State‑Specific Disclosures
- California: See the “California Consumer Privacy Notice” addendum for details on your right to know, delete, correct, and opt‑out of sharing or selling.
- Nevada: We do not sell “covered information” as defined by SB‑220.
- Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah: You may appeal a denial of your privacy request within 45 days.
