Yes, medical transportation should be scheduled in advance, either by your healthcare provider, insurance coordinator, or directly through Agape if private pay. This ensures timely service and coordination.

How do riders request return rides?
To request a return ride, passengers can either use the link provided via text to activate your ride, or call (718) 585-2222 for assistance.
Are your drivers trained for medical transportation?
Yes. All Agape drivers who provide NEMT services are TLC-licensed and trained to assist passengers with mobility challenges, ensure comfort, and support riders with care and respect.
What if I use a wheelchair or need extra assistance?
Agape has a fleet of wheelchair-accessible vehicles (WAVs), and our drivers are trained to assist passengers who need help getting in and out of the vehicle. Please let us know your needs when scheduling your ride.
How much does medical transportation cost?
In most cases, medical transportation is covered by your insurance provider or healthcare plan, including Medicaid. Check with your provider to confirm your eligibility and coverage.

We offer 24/7 live support to help you with anything on or off the road—whether it’s a trip issue, tech question, or schedule concern. We also have an in-person Driver Concierge Team available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM at our Bronx and Queens offices.

You can schedule an appointment to visit our Driver Support Centers, where our team can assist with technical issues, document updates, vehicle registration, and more.
